Pricing and plans
How paying for Attergo works, and what never costs anything.
Is there really a free plan?
Yes. Every event starts free, with no card required. The free plan covers up to 75 guests with a guest list, households, RSVP forms, a budget, tasks, manual seating on a 2D plan, QR check-in and full data export. Many birthdays, dinners and small gatherings never need anything more.
Why do you charge per event instead of monthly?
Most people host a few important events, not a steady stream of them. Paying once for the event that needs more guests or features means there is no subscription to remember, and nothing renews after your event is over. Planners, venues and organizations that run events continuously can choose a subscription instead.
What happens if my guest list grows past my plan?
You can upgrade that event at any time and you pay only the difference between your current plan and the new one. You can also add guests to one event without changing plan. Nothing you have already sent, such as invitations or passes, is affected by the change.
Can I downgrade or cancel?
Yes. Downgrading or cancelling never deletes invitations, replies or passes that guests already hold, and you can always export your data. Accessibility, privacy and safety tools stay available on every plan.
Do professional planners pay per event as well?
They can, but most choose Planner Pro. It covers a portfolio of client events, staff seats with roles per client, reusable templates and suppliers, and event credits that cover client upgrades. Venues and enterprises are priced with them directly.
Guests and invitations
What your guests see and what they never have to do.
Do guests need to create an account?
No. Every guest or household receives a personal link. From it they reply, update their answers until your deadline, see the schedule and, when you choose to share it, their seat. No password, no download.
How do household invitations work?
You group people into households and send one link to an adult in that household. That person answers for each member, one function at a time, so a family can accept the reception while one member declines the ceremony. Every person keeps their own attendance, meal and access answers.
Can I control plus-ones?
Yes. You decide how many additional companions each function allows, whether they need your approval, and whether a waiting list opens when a function is full. The default is no plus-ones, so nobody gains a seat you did not plan for.
Can guests change their answers?
Yes, until the deadline you set for each function. Declining stays possible even after a deadline, because a seat that will not be used is better known early. If two people edit the same reply at once, Attergo asks the later one to refresh instead of silently overwriting.
Privacy and guest data
Who sees what, and how sensitive details are protected.
Who can see dietary and accessibility answers?
Only the people who need them. A caterer sees meal counts and allergies for the functions they serve; an usher sees that a guest needs a step-free route, not why. Guests never see anyone else’s answers or contact details.
Does Attergo infer anything about my guests?
No. Attergo never guesses relationships, religion, health, ethnicity or anything else from names, photos or answers. It works only with what you and your guests tell it, and optional social preferences need each adult guest’s own consent.
Can a guest ask for their information to be removed?
Yes. Hosts can export and remove guest data, and guests can withdraw optional consents at any time. The privacy page explains who is responsible for event data and how requests are handled.
Seating and venues
How SeatSense and EventTwin make decisions, and who stays in control.
Does SeatSense seat people automatically?
SeatSense proposes, you decide. It builds a suggestion that keeps every hard rule you set, such as households together, people kept apart, reserved tables and step-free seats, and explains each placement. Nothing reaches guests until you publish a version.
What happens when my rules cannot all be met?
SeatSense tells you which rules conflict and why, and suggests what you could change. It never quietly breaks a hard rule to make a plan fit.
Do guests see the seating tool?
No. Guests see an optional "Seat me near people with similar interests" choice in their RSVP, and their own seat once you publish it. Weights, rules and suggestions stay in your workspace.
Is the EventTwin floor plan accurate enough for my venue?
EventTwin draws your room to the measurements you enter and warns when furniture overlaps or leaves the room. It helps everyone plan from one drawing, but it does not replace your venue’s own approval of capacity, fire safety and access.
Payments and regions
Selling tickets, taking donations and using Attergo in your country.
Can I sell tickets or take donations?
Yes. Free, paid, donation and invite-only admission run from one inventory with ticket classes, sales windows, promotions, holds and waitlists. Paid checkout uses payment providers that support your country, currency and type of event; see regional availability for what is offered where.
Who receives the money from ticket sales?
Your event’s sales go to you, through your connected payment account, and your attendees receive receipts from you. Attergo charges separately for its own plans, so your event revenue and Attergo’s fees never mix.
Who pays the ticket fees, me or my attendees?
You choose. Fees can be added on top of the ticket price for buyers to pay, or absorbed into your price, wherever your payment provider and local rules allow it. Either way, the buyer sees the final amount before paying.
When do I receive the money from ticket sales?
Sales are paid into your own connected payment account, so the timing follows that provider’s payout schedule for your country and account. Attergo shows every order, refund and fee in your event ledger, so you can reconcile what arrives against what was sold.
Are fees shown to buyers?
Always. Ticket prices, fees and taxes are itemised before you publish a paid event and again before a guest pays. A pass is issued only when the payment is confirmed.
Does Attergo work in my language and currency?
Every event has its own language, currency, time zone and date format, and invitation wording is personalised with each guest’s name. Regional templates for celebrations in Nigeria, India and elsewhere are editable starting points, never assumptions about your guests.
Professional use
For planners, venues, conference organizers and companies.
Can I keep client events separate?
Yes. Each client works in a separate space with its own guests, budgets and documents. Staff see only the clients you assign them to, and suppliers see only the details of the events they serve.
Does Attergo handle conferences with several tracks?
Yes. Programs with rooms and tracks, session capacity and waitlists, speaker invitations and proposal reviews, personal agendas, badges and session check-in are all part of the platform.
Can exhibitors and sponsors manage their own details?
Yes. Exhibitors and sponsors get scoped portals for their team, staff passes within their quota, documents and deadlines. Lead capture only shares a visitor’s details when that visitor has agreed.
Your data and leaving
What you can take with you, at any time.
What happens to duplicates when I import a spreadsheet?
An import shows you a preview first, matches your columns, and flags people who look like they are already on your list so you can merge or keep them. Households are grouped from a column you choose, and nothing is added until you confirm.
Can I export my guest list?
Yes, on every plan and at every stage of your event, including after it is cancelled or archived. Exports come as CSV or JSON, with one column per function showing who said yes, no or has not answered yet.
Is my account secure?
Hosts can sign in with a password or a passkey, protect their account with an authenticator app, and keep one-time recovery codes for emergencies. The security page describes how event data is separated and protected.
What happens to my event after it ends?
Your event stays available to close out, review and archive. You can download a full archive, reuse the structure as next year’s template without anyone’s private answers, or delete it.
