The terms for using Attergo.
Written to be read, not skimmed past.
This agreement
These terms apply when you create an Attergo account or use Attergo to organize an event. If you use Attergo for an organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf. Guests who only reply to an invitation do not need an account, and the host’s own event terms apply to them.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details secure, use accurate information, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for what happens in workspaces you own, including the people you invite to collaborate.
Your events and your data
You own the content you add to Attergo, including guest lists, event details and uploads. You give Attergo permission to store, process and display it only to run the service for you. You are responsible for having the right to invite your guests and to collect the information you ask them for.
You can export your event data at any time, and delete events you own.
Plans and payment
Every event can start on the free plan. Per-event plans are one-time purchases tied to a single event; they cover that event for the validity period shown before you buy and do not renew. Professional plans are subscriptions billed for the period you choose, until you cancel.
Upgrading a per-event plan costs the difference between plans. Moving to a smaller plan never removes invitations, replies or passes already issued. Prices, taxes and any fees are shown before you confirm a purchase.
Selling tickets and taking donations
When you sell tickets, registrations or take donations, you are the seller to your guests. You set the price, the refund policy and the event terms, and you are responsible for delivering the event and for any taxes on your sales. Payments are processed by payment providers available in your country, subject to their own terms and eligibility checks.
Fees are itemised before you publish a paid event and before a guest pays. Fundraisers must describe the cause accurately and must not claim charitable status or tax benefits they do not have.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Attergo to:
- Send messages to people who have not been invited or who have opted out, or contact lists you did not collect lawfully.
- Run fraudulent events, impersonate others, or misrepresent an event, a cause or a ticket.
- Harass, threaten or discriminate against guests, or try to infer sensitive personal characteristics about them.
- Upload malware or content you have no right to share.
- Interfere with the service, probe it without permission, or access other people’s data.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Attergo available and to protect your data, and we will tell you in advance about changes that materially reduce what you have paid for. Venue plans and capacity tools support planning but do not replace approval of layouts by your venue or local authorities.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Attergo and close your account at any time, after exporting what you want to keep. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put guests or the service at risk, and where it is fair to do so we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.
Responsibility
Attergo provides tools for planning and running events. Hosts remain responsible for their events, their guests’ experience and their decisions. To the extent the law allows, Attergo is not responsible for indirect losses, and its total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid Attergo in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change in a way that matters, we will update the effective date and tell account holders before the change takes effect.
